We're looking for a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of analyzing our extensive retail datasets, extracting meaningful insights, and contributing to the enhancement of our ML algorithms. You'll have the opportunity to work on global pricing, product catalog, brand catalog, category catalog, and inventory datasets, driving significant business value through your insights and models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance on best practices in data science methodologies and project execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of data-driven projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and implement machine learning models to analyze large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, formulating and executing data-driven strategies.
- Enhance data collection procedures to include information relevant for building analytic systems.
- Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate new datasets for potential business value and integration into our platform.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning, ensuring Bungee Tech remains at the cutting edge.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven 5+ years experience as a Data Scientist, with expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- 3+ years experience in Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision.
- Experience working with transformers, LLM's, and Deep Learning models.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with SQL.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience.
