Job Summary:
The Field Engineer is responsible for solving technical problems implementing and supporting Clear Demand software in the field. This job is customer-facing and involves technical support and engagement through all phases of the customer lifecycle – from pre-sales demo preparation, through implementation and ongoing support. While this is an engineering position within the technology organization, the responsibilities and day-to-day interactions involve extensive collaboration with the Sales and Professional Services teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Configures, monitors and maintains data integration pipelines
Assists sales and services team members in planning and executing pre-sales demonstrations and customer onboarding
Assists in development of data pipeline enhancements and data integration tasks in support of product development initiatives
Responds to alerts and works tickets related to data integration and infrastructure services This position has Required Skills essential for the job and Additional Skills

Qualifications & Experience:
Required Skills
2+ years developing and / or administering distributed systems
Strong knowledge of Unix, preferably Ubuntu Linux
Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL fundamentals
Strong knowledge of core internet protocols
Information security fundamentals
Strong scripting skills in at least one of bash, Python, Perl (Python preferred)
Strong communication skills
Ability to handle multiple competing demands

C, C# or Python software engineering experience
