Primary Responsibilities:
- Functional (System , Regression) and Performance testing of API's, web and mobile apps.
- Work with test automation tools (e.g: Selenium, Jmeter, Grinder, Gattling etc)
- Automated REST based API testing.
- Create test data and seed databases, according to the test plan specifications.
- Create Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Case Design, Test data,Test Case Execution, Test Report, Traceability matrix, Log defects, Test Report Analysis
- Analyze and understand existing test coverage and test cases, identifying opportunities for redesign, replacement, reusability, and improvement in efficiency and performance.
- Design and execution of performance tests (load/stress, stability, latency, endurance)
- Generation and analysis of System's performance metrics, identification of hot spots, bottlenecks, tuning parameters.
- Work closely with Dev team for performance improvement.
Required Skills:
• At least 5+ years of related professional experience in software testing across the full software life-cycle including design, implementation, testing, operations and maintenance
• Ability to deliver projects/sprints on time
• Experience working in a continuous integration / continuous delivery development environment Should have basic programming skills in either PHP, Python or Java
• Working knowledge of Databases like postgresql, MySQL or MSSQL
• Hands-on working experience with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Familiar with Behavior-driven and/or Test-driven development is a plus
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Self-motivated and self-driven, continuously learning, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
