Job Summary: 
The Solutions Consultant serves as the technical bridge between our sales team and prospective clients, demonstrating how our integrated competitive pricing intelligence and price optimization solutions address specific retail challenges. You'll collaborate closely with our sales organization to qualify opportunities, conduct compelling demos, articulate our technical value proposition, and ensure smooth handoffs to implementation teams’ post-sale. 

Key Responsibilities:

This role centers on executing pilots for the competitive intelligence product, requiring a solid grasp of data flows, system integration, and ClearDemand's application. It involves leading cross-functional collaboration with customers, engineering, and product teams—including coordination across time zones. The role supports building scalable pilot processes, provides technical expertise during sales cycles, manages RFP responses, and assists with prospecting. Over time, it expands into broader solutions consulting, driving key GTM initiatives and championing AI adoption within the team.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 2-5 years of experience in a solutions consulting, sales engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role, preferably in retail technology, pricing solutions, or related SaaS products is preferred  

  • Candidates with backgrounds in consulting, product management, technical account management, pricing analysis, category management, or data analytics are also encouraged to apply  

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand our technology and articulate benefits in business terms 

  • Process-oriented mindset with experience building scalable procedures and workflows 

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to adapt messaging to different audience levels (from merchandising teams to C-suite to engineering team) 

  • Proficiency with data interpretation and the ability to explain complex data in simple terms 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred; and willingness to learn tools as needed  

  • This is primarily a remote position with occasional travel (less than 20%)
